Family

Hi my friends, my followers and my slaves. Today I am going to talk about something new, something that when you first hear it you would be like :"WTF r u on Hieu? I have never known that you use drugs before." Just a little comfirmation, I am not on any kind of drugs at all beside the fake tears I took this morning to give more moisture to my eyes. Today Family will be my topic.

If you have known me quite a lot you will know that I love to talk a lot about music, movies, biology, phiolosphy yet not family. To me family has been not that important to talk about to bring it on the table of a party. Family has never been my favorite subject simply because I have a great family. Just like Charleen said in her song "Never been to me", I was looking for the sweet but did not know that I had always been on the sweet. However there was an old saying that the further you go, the more you explore. And I have known about the sweet of the family.

I will start this article with the lines from my favorite series Percy Jackson and the Olympian. Those lines come from the converstation between Percy and Hestia, the goddess of family.
Hestia: "I am the least of the gods. Why would trust me with this?
Percy: You are the last Olympians, and the most important.
Hestia: And why is that Percy Jackson?
PErcy: Because Hope survives best at the hearth. Guard it for me, and I won't be tempted to give up again.

I could not believe that those lines can be found in a book for 12 years old kids. It touched me to the bone for the 1st time I read it. It was so true.
We are all in this world fighting, running, racing for our life and sometimes forget what do we have. The world is cruel and life is like a fast spinning crusher ready to crush everything that falls into it. Most of us can not achieve what we have in life all by ourself. Admit it or not you always need someone to help you on the way, not only financially but also spiritually. You can not do anything without someone has the faith in you. And that someone you can call family.
I do not want to narrow down the meaning of family in just people who have blood relationship with you. Family should be better than that. Family should be some place that you walk in and sit down with other people who have faith in you. They are the one that you rather to spend time with and share all your troubles. They are the ones that can truly keep your hopes.
Don't you hate it when whatever you do, people tell you that you can not do it. And when you fall, they stand and look down on you like are an idiot. That's where you need hopes and you only have hopes when you have someone to believe in you.
We can only keep going on our road, ripping of mobs, destroying obstacles, and reach to the glory as long as we have hopes. Hope gives us everything and save us from everything. It's not hard for people to fall, but it's so hard for someone to fall so manytimes but keep standing up and walk. Hope is like a drug that can recharge our battery to make us go further, and become a stronger person. It's so important that so many books, songs, movies, or any kind of arts have talked about.
But now come the question, how do you find it? How can you keep your hope with you and use it anytime you want? You can keep it. Many people look at a man and says that he is full of hope. He never give up on anything. To me, that is a false assumption. We do not have our hope with us. We might hope for things get better, but we do not possess it. Most of the time, hope is kept with someone else, someone who always has faith in you, and invisibly their faith became your hope. There will always be hope as long as you have someone to believe in you and you can only find them in your family.
The family can be either your mother, father, sister, cousin, aunts friends or even just a co-workers. They are the one that keep your hope and give it to you anytime you want. I remember when I failed my first big exam, my mom came to me and said:" You should not see ... because he passed it." Never in my life I felt so bad. In fact my mom had never really believed that I can be a good student, a good man since I failed a lot in my highschools and even now. But I was fortunate to have my dad, my brothers and my friends. They keep my hopes and give it to me anytime I want. Sometimes they can give it to me by speaking me up and helping me to overcome. Or sometimes they just siliently believe in me. But I can always feel and I appreciate that. I understand now that I do need those people and that's why I am telling myself to become a hope keeper. That's why I have tried not to tell someone to give up on their goals. And I hope for all of you will have a family where you can always find hopes...
